Permanent pasture, from the beginning
This permanent pasture was planted this year, in early April. The picture was taken the end of April. We planted oats, alfalfa, annual rye grass, medium red clover, and Ladino clover. This is a blog about sheep specifically Corriedales. Corriedales are a dual purpose meat and wool breed that perform well for both uses. They produce great fleece that spinners value highly. Our farm is in central Illinois.
